Various Artists - All I Have To Give (Now That's What I Call Music, Vol. 3)
I don't know what he does to make you cry,
But I'll be there to make you smile.
I don't have a fancy car,
To get to you I'd walk a thousand miles.
I don't care if he buys you nice things
Does his gifts come from the heart
I don't know, but if you were my girl
I'd make it so we'd never be apart
Chorus
But my love is all I have to give
Without you I don't think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give
When you talk, does it seem like he's not
Even listening to a word you say?
That's okay babe, just tell me your problems
I'll try my best to kiss them all away...
Does he leave when you need him the most?
Does his friends get all your time?
Baby please...I"m on my knees
Praying for the day that you'll be mine!!
Chorus
Bridge
To you..... Hey girl, I don't want you to cry no more - inside
All the money in the world
Could never add up to
All the love I have inside
I love you
Bass Break And I will give it to you
All I can give, all I can give
Everything I have is for you
But love is all I have to give
Drum Break & Chorus x3 and out
But my love is all I have to give
Without you I dont think I can live
I wish I could give the world to you
But love is all I have to give...to you.
@eminopi, I think you are right. There are just so many names given to the Hmong. In Asia, everybody calls the Hmong with the name Miao. And we just take it because we got used to it.
It seems only the Hmong in Laos who migrated to other countries after the war are successful in making other people call us Hmong by our name Hmong. We are the loudest in America with the help of the Internet, and I bet that is going to be the trend. People will start recognizing Hmong as Hmong.

Miao has three major dialects and a lot of sub-dialects. Maybe your dialect is different from theirs. It is very common in China: you don't understand a local language in a city 70 miles south of your home (just like people in LA do not understand people in San Diego). This explains why most Chinese must learn a second language: Mandarin Chinese (Mandarin is the first language of some Northern Chinese).

@seize7days
Not really. The word "Miao" is a chinese word to refer that to them. It's like how in English we call the citizens of Germany, Germans, and the Germans themselves refer to themselves as "Deutsch". The Hmong in China call themselves either Hmoob, Hmongb, Hmub, etc. etc.

They have a very strong Chinese accent to their Hmong but I think I heard them saying some kwm txiaj words and if I'm not wrong I also heard them saying "peb sib hlub". ^_^ They look like they're always having fun.
